Elevated Networking by and for Cybersecurity Leaders
Shield Sessions are community-building events built to be experiential and provide elevated networking experiences for Cybersecurity leaders.
The agenda is shaped with the help of the Chicago-based members of the Sentinel Guild, an invitation-only fellowship of industry leaders serving as stewards of the Sentinel Nexus community.
Woven into the evening is an interactive incident response game designed to get every person in the room actively engaged. Five tables each receive a scenario card and work through the five traditional IR phases.

A Guided Tour of Soldier Field & an Interactive Tabletop Exercise
Join us for an exclusive evening at Chicago's iconic Soldier Field, where history meets innovation. This intimate Shield Session brings together elite cybersecurity leaders for a unique experience combining culture, conversation, and community.
Begin with a behind-the-scenes guided tour of this legendary stadium, exploring areas typically closed to the public. Then gather for cocktails and dinner in the Skyline Suite—woven into the evening is an interactive incident response tabletop exercise designed to get every person in the room actively engaged.
Five tables each receive a scenario card and work through the five traditional IR phases. It's an interactive incident response game designed to get every person in the room actively engaged—and it's unlike anything you'll experience at a conference.
Event Agenda
5:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Soldier Field, Chicago
The Tabletop Exercise
Woven into the evening is an interactive incident response game designed to get every person in the room actively engaged. Five tables each receive a scenario card and work through the five traditional IR phases.
"Someone gained backdoor access to the CEO's Smart Refrigerator and has begun exfiltrating company data."
After each round, cards rotate — forcing groups to build on whatever the previous team decided. No single group controls the outcome.
5 Rounds × 5 Min
Tables work through IR steps, then pass to the next group
Presentations (15 min)
One emissary per table presents their crowdsourced plan
Panel Debrief (10 min)
Premier Sponsor + facilitators debrief with the room
Why This Works
This is four hours with the people who make security purchasing decisions, in a setting designed to build real relationships. The tabletop exercise puts every person in the room into active collaboration. The unconventional scenarios level the playing field and create shared experiences attendees talk about long after the event.
